Galvanized steel wire in mild steel, medium carbon and high carbon steel are available with Eritech as individual wires &also in stranded forms. Individual wires are supplied in each coil weighing 70 to 135 kg or as prescribed by the customer.
Stranded wires are produced as Overhead Ground wire or static wire for earthing of the electrical Power Transmission lines. Stay or Guy wire strands are produced for use with poles, towers or any other form of guying and can be used for telephones, and power&CATV sets.
Stay Wires and Earth wires are galvanized steel wire strands that are used for stabilizing a pole. They are made up of 6 wires stranded around 1 wire, twisting 7 wires together.
Stranded wires are packed in steel drums if required by the customer, otherwise in coils wrapped and palletized for exports.
These wires are available as per ASTM-A-475& BS-183 specifications.
